Choosing your puppy

How to choose your next best friend AKA “How to choose an adorable monster”

The truth is temperament at a young age is not an absolute certainty. Puppy temperament can be shaped by many factors. Genetics play a role in temperament and how much drive your puppy has but the greatest influence is life experiences and the environment they are raised in. Our time with the puppies is merely a snapshot or slice of their life. You will play a significant role in their temperament through training, playing, experiences, socializing, and nutrition. When we speak about temperament in our videos we consider curiosity, sociability, and confidence. We use a number scale to help you get an idea about each individual puppy. 1 being the most calm/passive to 5 being the most active/confident. Most times our puppies end up in the middle at a 3.
